


I’m not trying to convince you to use it but sometimes it is misunderstood. I have been using it for 4 years and I don’t have a single file in the cloud. It you choose to sync it only sends smart previews. It requires local file storage with an option to sync to the cloud if you choose to do so. You install it in your desktop just like LR6. Just in case the new version of LR Classic is not cloud based. Just tried the full download, and it works. People that have moved onto the subscription version might have v6 lying around.

I know its all cloud based, but is there a way to get a standalone version of Lightroom 6 anywhere ? I bought Lightroom 5 ages ago, but Adobe has no record of it at all for some reason.
